Using the recipe tools

Grams to Cups offers cooking measurement tools and an optional recipe workspace. Review transcribed recipes before cooking. Image recognition may make mistakes, and volume-to-weight conversions depend on ingredient density, preparation, and measuring method. The tools do not measure the weight or nutrition of food in a photograph. They do not provide medical or allergy advice.

Your content and account

Use an email address you control. Only submit recipes, images, and links you have permission to process. Importing a recipe does not transfer the author's rights to you; keep source attribution when sharing. Do not use automated requests, multiple accounts, or other methods to evade scan allowances, disrupt the service, or access another person's information.

Free and Plus allowances

The pricing page describes daily and monthly scan allowances. Both limits apply, reset at UTC boundaries, and do not roll over. Manual recipe editing and converters remain available without a subscription. We may temporarily limit scanning during outages or unusually high demand. Failed scan requests return their allowance when the failure is recorded; contact support if a request was interrupted and the allowance looks wrong.

Subscriptions and billing

Plus is billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout and renews automatically until cancelled or the 10-year maximum subscription term ends. Prices are in USD unless checkout displays a supported local currency. Applicable taxes, renewal frequency, and the total are shown before you pay. Dodo Payments processes the checkout and payments under its applicable terms. Plus access starts after payment confirmation; confirmation may take a few minutes.

Cancellation and billing help

Use Manage subscription while signed in to open the billing portal. Cancel before the next renewal to stop that charge. When cancellation is scheduled for the end of a paid period, access continues until that period ends. Failed payments, refunds, or chargebacks may affect access. Contact the support details on your Dodo receipt for payment or refund questions. Nothing here removes rights that applicable consumer law gives you.

Saved recipes and availability

You can save recipes in your browser or privately to your account. Cloud saves are explicit and limited to 100 recipes per account. Photos are included only when you choose to save them. Export backups of local recipes before changing devices. We aim to keep the tools available but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or recovery of a deleted local recipe. Check recipe-specific guidance when changing batch sizes; baking time and temperature do not scale automatically.
