A few useful details
What counts as a scan?
One successfully processed recipe image or package-label image counts as one scan. Corrections, conversions, scaling, saved recipes, and recipe link imports do not use photo credits. Failed scans return their credit.
When do scan allowances reset?
Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Monthly limits reset on the first day of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC, regardless of your billing date. Both limits apply; unused scans do not roll over. An annual subscription has the same monthly allowance as a monthly subscription.
Where are my recipes and photos stored?
Save recipes on this device or, when signed in, privately to your account for access on other devices. Photos are sent to OpenAI only when you scan; they are saved in Firebase Storage only when you choose to include them with a cloud recipe. Each account holds up to 100 cloud recipes. Can a photo tell me the weight or calories of a plate of food?
No. This tool reads written recipes and package labels. It does not measure portions or infer hidden ingredients from a food photograph. Ingredient conversions use selected densities and should be treated as estimates.
How do cancellation and refunds work?
Use Manage subscription while signed in to open Dodo’s customer portal. Cancellation at the end of the paid period stops renewal while retaining access for that period. For billing or refund help, use the support details on your receipt. Statutory consumer rights still apply. See our Terms.
